Your temporary password is your postal code + last 4 digits of your Social Security Number (example: 541301234). You’ll then be prompted to create a new password with at least 12 characters.

Q: Can I enroll in Online Banking myself?

A: Yes — for personal accounts, you can enroll directlythrough the East Wis Savings Bank app or at www.eastwis.bank. For business accounts, enrollment must be completed by East Wisconsin Savings Bank staff.

  • Daily: Up to 5 checks or $2,500

  • Auto-approved limit: $500

Note: Previously approved higher limits will not carry over. Please contact us to re-establish if desired.

Q: How can I organize or rename my accounts in Online or Mobile Banking?

A: You can manage your account display using the Self Service – Account Maintenance tool. From there, you can rename accounts to help identify them easily.

To control the order in which accounts appear, we recommend using alphabetical or numerical prefixes—for example, naming an account “1 – Main Checking” or “A – Vacation Fund” will help position it at the top of your account list.

Q: How do I enroll to receive account alerts by text message or email?

A: Login to your Online Banking account (desktop not mobile) and navigate to, Self Service > Account Maintenance > Mobile Banking. Here's how:

  • Select your mobile carrier and enter your mobile number.
  • Review and accept the Terms & Conditions.
  • Enter the activation code you receive via text to complete setup.
  • Once confirmed, your number will appear as an option when setting up alerts.

Q: Do I need to enroll in Text Banking to receive alerts via SMS?

A: Yes, enrollment is still required to receive alerts via text message. Once you’ve completed the one-time activation process, you can choose to receive alerts by text, email, or both.

Q: Is Online and Mobile Banking secure?

A: Yes. We use advanced encryption, multifactor authentication, and biometric login options to help keep your accounts protected.

Q: What should I do if I forget my password?

A: Click “Forgot Password” on the login screen and follow the steps to reset it.

Q: What if I lose my phone or suspect fraud?
